What Happens If You Let Go?

You want something different to happen, and at the same time you also feel some resistance to leaving behind something from the past.

The unknown is scary - sometimes so scary that you're willing to stay attached to the things you're unhappy about now because you don't know what's coming next.

If you believe that what's next is better than what's here now, then you're more likely to let go of that attachment.

But if you haven't yet been sold on the belief that the future is brighter, then you likely have some doubt, attachment, resistance, and perhaps even deep-seated fear.

What if you could accept that you are not supposed to be the same way all the time?

Stop grasping for the past or resisting against that which you fear, so that you're ready for what's next.

What scenarios are you running in your head about what might happen if you take the leap to let go of your attachment to the past?

Do this experiment: Add in another scenario in which things go a different way than you had envisioned. A better way.

If you can imagine your life getting worse in the future, then you can also imagine it getting better...

So do it. Imagine it getting better...

Follow the feeling.
