Low AMH: Fertility, Hope, and the Power of Ayurveda

So many women around the world are quietly struggling with fertility. They’re doing their best: tracking cycles, following doctors' orders, trying to stay hopeful. However, each month that passes without a positive result, or every blood test that tells someone they have low AMH, can feel like another blow. And then, there’s the noise in the background: the headlines, the policy changes, the restrictions, the disheartening narratives about women’s bodies and what we can or can’t do with them. I feel it too. It’s overwhelming sometimes.

But despite the noise, I keep going. I keep trusting the ancient systems that helped me and so many others. I keep working with women through the lens of Ayurveda – this beautiful, holistic science that treats the body, mind, and spirit as one – and I see results. Not always instantly. But they come.

This morning, I woke up to a message from a woman I’d just supported through a cleanse as she prepared to start the fertility meds for egg freezing. She wanted to see if we could improve her reproductive functioning before she went through her first round. Her message to me said:

“Excited to share with you that I just had an ultrasound and I have ten follicles! 🥰🥹💕💗 Thank you so much for everything 💗 I had two follicles in October ‘24 and only one in January ‘25. And I had two different fertility clinics tell me I wouldn’t have more than one or two in the future. And then I started working with you ☺️🥰”

These moments are why I keep going. Even when I feel discouraged. Even when the world tells us we’re permanently broken or limited. We’re not. We’re changeable. And with the right nourishment, care, and belief – sometimes guided by time-tested systems like Ayurveda – we can shift what once felt impossible.

If you're on any sort of healing path, please don’t give up. The world may not always understand your journey, but that doesn’t mean that you can't change your future.
